THREE ECHOES
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Three Echoes Studio (“Three Echoes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you play Three Echoes (the “Game”) or visit this website.
At a glance
- The Game does not require you to create an account.
- No forced ads. The only ads are optional rewarded videos from Google AdMob that you choose to watch for a hint.
- Google AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking when iOS asks. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are requested.
- No analytics and no crash reporting.
- We do not sell personal information.
- Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat, linked to a random anonymous ID.
Information the Game uses
You can play without registering or giving us your name, email address, or other account details. The Game stores gameplay progress (for each story), settings and your coin balance on your device so you can continue where you left off. This locally stored game data is not an account and is not used to identify you.
We do not sell personal information or share it with data brokers. Optional ads are described below.
In-app purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)
Payments are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see or receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple’s handling of payments is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
To confirm purchases, deliver what you bought and let you restore purchases, the Game uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.), an in-app purchase service. When the Game starts and when you buy or restore, the RevenueCat software in the Game communicates with RevenueCat’s servers and Apple. This involves:
- An anonymous app user ID generated at random by RevenueCat the first time you open the Game (shown as “Player ID” in Settings). It is not tied to your name, email or Apple Account identity.
- Purchase history: which products you bought or restored, transaction identifiers, dates, prices and currency, and the App Store country.
- Chapters unlocked with coins: a small note (for example “house: c04, c05”) attached to your anonymous ID so that support can help you if your device’s saved data is lost.
- Technical information needed to make network requests, such as the app version, device model, operating system version, language and your IP address.
RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf to provide the purchase service. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. Coins you earn or buy are stored on your device; buying a coin pack is recorded by Apple and RevenueCat as described above.
Optional ads (Google AdMob)
Some hints can be unlocked by watching an optional rewarded ad instead of spending coins. These ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). We never show banner, interstitial or other forced ads: an ad plays only when you tap “Watch an ad”. If an ad is not available, you can always use coins instead, and everything in the Game can be finished without watching an ad.
When the Game loads or shows an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the Game communicates with Google and its advertising partners. This can involve:
- Your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS), only if you allow tracking when the Game asks (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, no identifier is used for advertising.
- Ad interaction data: whether an ad was requested, shown, clicked or completed.
- Diagnostics and device information: IP address (approximate location), device model, operating system version, app version, language, and performance and crash information about the ad SDK.
Personalized and non-personalized ads. If you allow tracking (and, in the EEA and UK, consent to personalization), ads may be personalized using the advertising identifier. If you decline, or you withhold consent, the Game requests non-personalized ads only, based on context such as the Game and your general region, not on your activity in other apps.
Your choices. The first time the Game prepares an ad, iOS asks whether Three Echoes may track you across other companies’ apps and websites; you can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the EEA and UK, Google’s consent form is shown before any ad is requested; if you do not consent, no ads are requested. You can also limit ad personalization in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
We do not receive the data Google collects. Google acts under its own privacy policy: Google Privacy Policy. How Google uses data from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
No analytics
The Game does not include analytics or crash-reporting services. If a future version adds any, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details first.
Website and support messages
You can browse this website without creating an account. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to include, such as your email address and message, and use them to answer your request and provide support. Please do not include sensitive information in a support message.
Like most websites, the service that hosts this site may process basic technical information, such as an IP address and request details, to deliver the pages and protect the site. The hosting provider’s processing is subject to its own privacy and security terms.
How long information is kept
Game progress stored on your device remains there until you remove the Game or clear its data. RevenueCat purchase records are kept while needed to provide restores and support, and as required for accounting and legal purposes. We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain a record of the request, and address follow-up issues, unless a longer period is required by law.
Children’s privacy
The Game does not require an account or personal details to play and only shows optional rewarded ads that the player chooses to watch. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us at the address below and request its deletion.
Your choices
You can remove locally stored game data by deleting the Game from your device. You can choose not to make purchases. Apple manages payment details and refund requests. To ask for access to, or deletion of, the purchase records linked to your anonymous Player ID, email us with your Player ID (Settings → Player ID → Share); deleting these records may stop “Restore Purchases” from working for that ID. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete your data; contact us and we will respond within the time required by law.
Security and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect information received through support, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We may update this policy when the Game or our practices change. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
